Pine Needles Lodge And Golf Club

Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy our high-time dinner at pine needles. at the arrival we were told that our reservation for the bar grill area, not the main dining room. (as no one has eaten in the main kitchen room. essentially it was closed) my wife and I entered the grill place only to find a small number of tables all filled with parasols. So we sat at the bar that expected a drink and waited until a table was available. After we waited for a few minutes at the bar and received NO service, not even eye contact from the bar offers, we left and had a delightful evening meal in the southern prime steakhouse in southern pines. this was very disappointing for me, especially because I know that the pine needles golf course is fantastic....Don't eat so much for their restaurants.

Very good dinner at a reasonable price. Large portions. Excellent use of wine, herbs and spices.

We had a nice jubilee dinner. they even had a special table for us. the service was wonderful and the food delicious.

When we came to the restaurant, they had no recordings about our table. they sent us into the bar where they had no record of our table. they never offered us space in the dining room and we had to press in 8 people in a table for 6. the menu was simply bar food, and not what we were for. I hear it's really nice, but I wouldn't recommend going through open table. they obviously hadn't properly set it up.

Eating and service are always excellent here. the only problem was that the resort did not receive our open table reservation. they have housed us in their true southern art anyway.
