I don't think there was a Calamari in the bread season. The linguini in white mussel sauce was nothing we've ever seen. The sauce was a thick sauce that was yellowish in color and had a little Clam sauce taste, but I don't think it was made by scratches that need no time. The sauce was poured over some shells and linguini to give an authentic torch, but failed. We have 4 pieces of bread with butter the size of the Ritz cracker. We will not even go into the shrimp scampi with 6 pcs and a similar thick type of sauce. I think they use prefabricated sauces or bases from a kind of restaurant supply site like restaurant deposit. When we got the bill, we were surprised to see that we were charged $2.50 extra because of the kind of soup we chose with our meal and was not informed about it. When I informed the server, she said it was somewhere on the menu and it wasn't. For the slow service, the terrible food we left there, and the overcharging we left a corresponding tip that had much to do. We'll never go back here. 1st and last visit. Stay away. The name will you think it is a great place, but it was the worst 62 dollars spent and that includes the 2,50 tip. The tip was appropriate for the lack of service and long waits for them, not properly informed us and do nothing to improve the experience.
Old school Italian restaurant. Hot bread and salad with meal. Meals were excellent and the pounded chicken was like my Grandma?s. Service was superb. Only negative would be the price, but the portions will feed us for two nights so it was worth it. Thank you!!!
Came here because of a Groupon offer. Ordered the bourbon braised short ribs with risotto for $20, half of the meat was fat and inedible! Not worth the $20. Starter salad was small, and bread was acceptable but nothing special. My dad's lasagna was also mediocre and nothing special for the price that we paid. Photo shown is how much of my actual meat was fat!
Waitress Rose was very attentive. The portions were hearty and very delicious. I had the Tortellini Toscana and my fiance Gorgonzola Seafood. We were so pleasantly surprised and and satisfied with everything here. So surprised there isn't more people in here. We came here on groupon and glad we did or we wouldn't have discovered this hidden gem.
The cavatelli was home made and the pesto sauce was good, a bit too much olive oil but was a good meal. The meatballs and sauce were delicious. It was busy when we went, definetly recommend reservations. Sat at the bar and bartender was very friendly and attentive!
