On top of the great food, I must highlight the exceptional customer service! I initially thought the guy at the register was the owner because he genuinely cared about our experience, but he turned out to be the manager. Being a new restaurant, he was generous enough to offer some complimentary items so we could try more of the menu. We hadn't ordered the fried veggies, but he insisted we would love them and included them for free. While enjoying my meal, I was already eyeing the extensive menu for my next visit. The manager made a point to check on all the diners, and when he reached our table, I asked if they made their own chili. He confirmed they did and mentioned they also make their own salsa. I said I planned to try the chili next time, and just 30 seconds later, he brought us a small sample. It was delicious! I really hope this place thrives so I have a great spot to come back to now and then. I also noticed the other orders being served, and everything looked amazing!
This restaurant is located where the Wendy's used to be, at the corner of 1709 and Davis. I really love the food here. They have a great selection of breakfast burritos and sandwiches, as well as hamburgers, tacos, hot and cold sandwiches, fries, and fried mushrooms or zucchini—there's a lot to choose from! Everything is consistently delicious, made fresh, and the portions are decent. My only downside is that the prices are quite high. For instance, turning your burger into a combo costs an additional four dollars. While the prices are steep, the quality of the food makes it worth it.
The restaurant is immaculate and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere featuring comfortable booths and tables. The service is top-notch and reminiscent of the good old days—truly exceptional! The staff and the owner are incredibly friendly, and you can tell he takes great pride in the place; he even introduced us to his chef! Overall, it was a delightful experience with wonderful people and amazing food. What a treat! And by the way, the restaurant originates from California—specifically Glendale, La Crescenta, Upland, and Santa Clarita!
The pastrami was incredibly delicious, and the sandwich was huge. My wife ordered a Greek salad and was very pleased with it. The only drawback was that the fries were a bit overcooked, but it wasn't a major issue.
