I had a wonderful meal with friends at Vernon Arms. It’s a warm and cozy pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very attentive, which made the experience even better. We also enjoyed listening to the folk singers performing there. My only minor criticism would be the limited options for vegetarians. I tried the Moving Mountain veggie burger, which was quite nice, but other than that, the choices were mostly mushroom stroganoff or curry. However, any burger can be swapped for a veggie option. One of my friends opted for a starter, along with chips and a salad. The average cost per person was £20–30. Overall, I’d rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at a 5 out of 5.
