Ruby's Diner - Southwest Orange

Food was delicious, and the service was excellent!We split a RubyMelt, upgraded the fries to frings (fries with onion rings tossed in), fried green beans and added the fried green beans. We tried the new strawberry cheesecake shake, and everything was delicious. We split our entree and the servers brought us extra plates. We shared our shake too, and our server brought us it to us in two separate glasses (instead of the one glass and the metal container that Ruby’s usually does). Both glasses were topped with whipped cream, a cherry, and graham cracker crumbs. We were impressed that they made that extra effort for us.

I got the Fish and Chips. It was very good. Food was very hot and fresh. Served with everything needed. My drink never ran dry, for dessert I had a double chocolate chip shake. The restaurant was clean, and friendly. Nice atmosphere with 50 music playing. Only negative I can give if I have one, and it is always a preference depending on the customer, but it was quite cold in the restaurant, so if you get cold easy dress warm. Kid-friendliness: This would be a wonderful option for a place to bring your kids. Wheelchair accessibility: There would be no problem getting a wheel chair in here.

This is our go to place after a baseball game. The food tastes incredible and looks fantastic just like the pictures on the menu! The staff are the best of any restaurant I've been to in a long time.

Great diner staff and prices were very reasonable. Food was made well and was fresh. I would visit again when in the area.
