The Ship Inn - Spalding

We enjoy our locals. they have made a beautiful job with the renovation that this is a cozy place with a snoop and a very welcoming feeling. the host are beautiful and the beer all kept very good. we are very happy to go here regularly for a pint or two. we have eaten here 3 times (as far as) the first time was spot on large food, serving and service. the second time was enough with service patch and the third time was better again. this is only recently opened and so there is a rather hard (imo) evaluation, remember that the servier staff are all new and their feet find the restaurant is always busy and if they want a table they need to book what tells them something! as pub I would give the 5* plus. a beautiful place to relax, a welcome that is rare in many pubs nowadays and always tastes the best in a good village inn.

We kept our dad's 90th birthday together on Saturday 8th july at the same time, we had 60 guests. all employees were very helpful and could not do enough for us. eating was amazing and a lot of it. many thanks to all on this day, it would recommend.

Saturday afternoon we held a hen party in the restaurant, which was on the theme of a afternoon, I cannot thank the lady enough for the absolutely fantastic spread, eating, the venue and the relaxed atmosphere was just perfect. the cakes were really amazing, the best chocolate brownie I've ever eaten. I also have to say how reasonable the cost was and I wouldn't hesitate to hold another event here and I recommend to all my friends. Lunch today had the beef and ham salad , beautiful meat cooked perfect and salad was the best I have had, so much choice

Fabulous meal here today, great value and massive portions! Still full hours later. Lovely setting. The spring flowers are a nice touch too. Would recommend to all.
