Egg Roll King - Sparks

Do not recommend. Was more expensive than expected and food did not taste fresh at all. We threw our food out because we didn’t want to get sick. Chicken did not taste normal at all.

Love this place. My personal favorites are their chicken fried rice, shrimp chow mien, mongolian beef, and egg rolls. The lovely lady who works there is always so nice! They have understandable polices like not making food until you arrived due to past customer not showing up (which is such a waste of food if you ask me) and an increase of price due to inflation (they ask you to refer to their paper menu as board prices aren’t accurate). You can find these policies and notices on their wall! I live closer to the location on Oddie Blvd but I come to this location because their service and quality of food are better- especially their egg rolls! When I use to order at the Oddie location I feel so unwelcome the atmosphere is just weird there. The dude never hands my order to me he puts it to the side and makes me get it like totally shrugging me off even though they ain’t busy and I ordered in store. Their food is okay. While at this location the lovely lady always hands my food to me and always makes me feel welcome. They recently got a soda fountain so you should check it out. I will be a lifelong customer for sure!

Tonight I had my worst experience at Egg Roll King. I've had the Oddie and Wells location and was highly satisfied. This location on Prater was a disappointment. My total is usually under $16 for a veggie fried rice and 3 chicken egg rolls. This location served me lukewarm veggie fried rice and store bought (frozen)egg rolls and charged me $19????I stay 2 min away from this location but I'll drive to the Oddie location in the future just so that I can receive a better price, better service, and better quality of food.

Not at all what I was excepting Egg Roll King.This location is lacking and slacking the BRAND?!?

Wish there was a zero star option. This place should just close up shop. Food tasted like they make it fresh every 3 months maybe. The lady working there would not cook the food for a take-out order until we got there, hate to break it to you but that 's not how take-out works. Overpriced for very stale nasty food. Would recommend going anywhere else. To top it all off there vending machine stole my quarter and the lady said that 's not my machine, it was broken before .
