Gave this place a try and got the fish and chips. Absolutely no flavor and soggy. Didn't even eat one piece.Food: 1/5

It is a surprisingly wonderful place for what appears to be just a hole in the wall restaurant. Everything was superb from the service to the food. Vary much looking forward to going backFood: 4/5

I will come back to this post if I do ever go back but today the service was trash the music was so so so loud. I could hardly hear the waitress. But let me get to it ,The waitress who seem like she was not a regular waitress but more like the owner , I assume or idk , her attitude before sitting us down was already bad all to the end. I want to start by saying that as a former waitress and bartender, I can tell if there either there making the drink wrong or they didn’t add the right amount of ingredients. Because I’ve never ordered a Margarita at this located I had asked if they made margaritas and she hesitated so bad that she sighed when she gave me a answer. I ordered a strawberry margarita and she asked if I wanted it with tequila? I said yes ??. When the drink was brought out I could already tell it was made wrong . The bartender had to much syrup and not even a full shot of tequila . When I asked what type of tequila they had mixed it with she said it was the house tequila , Montezuma. She remade my drink and asked I tried . She insisted she add two more shot of house tequila and add Jose Cuervo to add that missing taste and right of the back I could tell she was lying . One it was not Jose Cuervo . It was house tequila ….. 2 she didn’t add nothing but more juice which ended up tasting like a slurpie. Then I also want to add that when it can down to righting our order , I said I wanted a medium langostino. She added that it came with rice and salad . The menu stated 17.99 when we got the check she charged us 26.99 for the plate ? I questioned her decision on why the Margarita when from 13.00 to 20$ or why was the food priced differently but instead she blandly belittle me and my husbands as thou we could not afford it . In the end I don’t ever want to come back . So over hype . As a west coaster , I can attest this and las islitas are the only spot that seemly sell seafood in Reno and they all over the the hype and customer service suck . I do hope this ladies ego comes down .

This establishment has quickly become one of my go to spots for seafood, thanks to the amazing quality of their dishes.One standout dish is their octopus it's absolutely amazing! It's cooked to perfection and the texture is spot on. The flavors are bold and memorable, leaving a lasting impression on your taste buds. Another must try dish is their red snapper. The fish is always fresh and cooked perfectly, with a deliciously crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat on the inside.Overall, the seafood there is just outstanding.
