Our waitress was extremely busy but never let our drinks get low and was wonderful and funny. We will always go back.
Marilou had a reservation for our table and Virginia provided excellent service. My wife ordered the Boston Clam Chowder and I had the Wedge Salad. It was a light yet wonderful dinner.
The bartender was efficient and managed being busy well. However, the food was only average. We ordered the Lazy Man's Cioppino and Seafood Louie. I chose the Lazy Man's and found it to be mostly spicy tomato broth with a few shrimp and bits of seafood mixed in. It didn't meet my expectations and felt oversold. My girlfriend's Seafood Louie was similar. We later dined at Chickie and Pete's at GSR, where my $12 clam chowder and her $14 baked clams were a much better value.
We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly seated. The food arrived promptly and was served at the appropriate temperatures - hot dishes were hot, and cold dishes were cold. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were generous.
My order was wrong, but the young waiter was busy and I couldn’t send it back on him. It was the line that messed this up. They were busy talking with “I used to work here” patrons at the counter, perhaps they were distracted.
