Tanti Baci Caffe - Sparta Township

When I relocated to Lake Mohawk, I was looking forward to discovering a fantastic Italian restaurant. Having been a frequent patron of Zia Maria in Little Italy, I hoped to find a similar experience at Baci. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that comforting, familial atmosphere here, which typically includes both delightful food and outstanding service. I kept thinking that if Lake Mohawk had a truly exceptional Italian restaurant, it would be a real gem. However, I won't be returning.

One major issue was that they did not fully clean our table after the incident. There was food spilled not only on the table but also on the floor, and it would have made more sense to either clean it up thoroughly or move us to a different table altogether, which did not happen. Additionally, my meal was served at the same time as hers, and since they took her messed-up dish away, they should have taken mine back as well to keep it warm. I certainly wasn’t going to eat while my girlfriend was dealing with a burnt hand and no food. For these reasons, I can only give them 2 stars. This isn't to say that the initial accident affected my rating; rather, it was the way the situation was handled overall that was lacking.

We held our rehearsal dinner at Tanti Baci Caffe, and I can’t express how wonderful everything was. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the owner was incredibly accommodating! All 50 of our guests raved about the food, and they even transformed our melted dessert into a completely new creation! Simply amazing!!!!!

Good Italian food in a nice, friendly, BYOB restaurant. Veal chop was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Spaghetti Carbonara was delicious and the right amount. Try the fried artichoke appetizer.

Very disorganized , dirty, worst experience in years, should concentrate on cleaning before cooking and serving
