Groucho's Deli - Spartanburg

Had lunch 11/4/22 with some friends from NC after shopping; so I disappointed her there! Our meals were Blaaa, nothing special about them at all! Both said they were not delicious!! Very embarrassing?

I was really disappointed with my experience at the restaurant tonight. The salad I ordered for my wife was not good - it had brown lettuce, no cheese, and the meat pieces were not very fresh. The other vegetables in the salad looked old as well. We usually eat at this restaurant often, but after tonight, we are not excited about going back. I might wait and let things improve before returning.

On the way to work I will occasionally stop in Grouchos where I am always greeted by a friendly, energetic, young staff. I usually get her(and I can have this wrong) dipper sandwich. This is a hot ham and turkey sandwich on a roll that comes with a diving sauce and a bag of chips. The sandwiches are good, but I feel a little too expensive for what it is. The dining area definitely needs some work, but is a witness how long they were around and college-aged clientele are designed to have a study section on one side. All in all, Groucho's is a decent place to pack a sandwich on the go and a good way to support local businesses.

There was one in Raleigh NC I also loved to go, then I moved to Tryon. When I found out that one of me was closed, I was so excited! The food was delicious as I remember. The staff was really friendly. I'll be back.

My sister and I just got our good delivered from door dash. I had the BLT and my sister had the Turkey bacon club. We are both disappointed. I expected more and a better quality of food. Sorry guys.
