This place looked nice and the decor is appealing, however the service and food were greatly lacking. When we entered the restaurant we wait a long time before anyone ever greeted us. After finally getting our food it was a disappointment. The sides were average but the meats were terrible. Basically, just warmed over frozen meat. Actually warm would be an overstatement. Good food, brisket was on point, sides were also great, nice variety of drinks on the menu plus specials drinks. Service was pretty good.

Rode over from Greenville for an outing and enjoyed lunch at Initial Q. I chose pulled pork, that was tender and moist, piled high on a brioche bun, and served with fabulous coleslaw. It was a great choice. Served with with a side of Pepper Jack Grits. The presentation was perfect. All that aside, visiting downtown Spartanburg the first Saturday of the month, be prepared to hear the firehouse siren. Apparently it's tested on that day, at 1:00 pm.
