Today was the second time I ordered on the app and it said error but I was charged. I showed it to both manager and assistant manager who simply said that there was nothing they could do. So for the second time I must go through my bank for a refund. Just want to warn others that this could be a scam because they offered me to pay for my order a second time even though the time and date of my charge was visible and coincided with my order.
The food is actually horrible. It’s been consistently horrible for the last 5 trips. Fries are undercooked to the point they are raw. Tea is burnt, not nearly sweet enough and stale from being left out for hours. Chicken is burnt and dry. The employees here clearly do no care about doing well at their jobs and management refuses to fire and hire qualified employees. This specific location might be the worst Zaxbys in the country and everyone involved with this business should be ashamed. Years ago this location was as great as any other Zaxbys. Sad to see the low effort ruin a nice place.
For a chicken joint you get what you get, I get it can be busy most of the time. DoorDash seems to be a bit more prioritized now which is good from before when it seemed not to be the case.
I got a large catering order from this specific Zaxbys. Their manager couldn’t have been more wonderful; the level of professionalism and dedication this team took to make everything an enjoyable (and delicious) experience was above and beyond expectations. We look forward to partnering with them again in the near future.
