It is only a small space and yet customers have to order on a screen no personal contact with staff. What an awful way to offer service in such a small space. Snacks were okay but I wouldn’t go back. The hospital cafe just beside Tesco offers a much more personal experience
The staff at this restaurant are extremely disrespectful and lack proper communication skills. Additionally, the food was served cold and the comments made by the staff were completely unacceptable.
Friendly and helpful staff and quick service. Place was very busy but staff still made an effort to stay on top of everything despite understaffing.
I don't even know where to begin with this review. The food at this Tesco Cafe was absolutely terrible, the worst I've ever had. It doesn't even compare to the one in Solihull. The only good things were the avocado and haloumi muffin, which was reportedly good, and the napkins were a decent size. The hash browns were just okay. However, the breakfast was a disaster - lukewarm beans, nearly cold sausage, tough and dry bacon, and fried bread that was so overcooked it was like eating ancient leather mixed with reinforced concrete. It seemed like most of the food had been sitting around for an hour before being served. And to make matters worse, none of the staff were wearing masks despite the current high death toll from covid. It was pot luck what they breathed all over your food.
We stopped by this cafe for some tea with milk and a muffin while waiting for our carpark spot. The total cost was under £4, making it a great value. The food was high-quality, and the service was efficient and friendly.
