We always stop at the Bells after a walk to Lammas with our large dog, Johnny. The Bells staff always make us and Johnny feel welcome. We mainly stop for hot drinks, on these cold winter afternoons. Lovely atmosphere, ambience, especially on cold winter evenings. Have eaten in the pub in the past as well and enjoyed ourselves Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I think it has had a change of ownership, had a great Saturday lunch, the slow cooked lamb shepherds pie was very good, the Guinness was good too. The staff were helpful and friendly, I would recommend and will be back for a Sunday lunch soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Lovely roast dinner. Welcoming for my dog too Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This was our first Sunday roast here but it won't be the last! The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. What was a big bonus was the cauliflower cheese, as I'm coeliac and it usually contains wheat but not the case here. If you're coeliac like me, or have any other dietary requirements I'd recommend, and if you're not you're also in for a treat. Price per person: £20–30
