Migros Restaurant - Spiez

Good food, affordable prices and a helpful chef who helped us translate and even got a car for us! great service, thanks to the chef! the intention was also amazing and able was perfect.

As other contributors have said, this restaurant has one of these best views in Switzerland. It is also a great place to eat economically if your are holidaying there. For supermarket food it's head and shoulders above anything in the UK. Hot food, salads, fruit...and the cakes are always lovely too. Good choice of drinks too. I've never been disappointed with lunch here.

Not just the one that's great. also the food - approx. 14.45 h- was quickly prepared and hand-bodied. we were pleased that the service was friendly and accommodating even during the xten visit. the price-performance ratio is top. the entire locality very appealing.

Bern can be an expensive city especially if you're visiting on a limited budget. Migros, the supermarket chain are a good solution to getting a fairly reasonable priced meal and a drink whilst sightseeing. Usually self service and with a good choice from soup to salad, cakes to hot dishes. Good quality although hot meals can be a little basic. Salads are a good choice but be careful how much you buy as it is generally sold by weight.This is where the locals come to get their lunch. Can get busy 12-14.00 hours.Not open on a sunday.Good value.
