The staff, the environment and definitely the food are amazing! If you ever stop for a bite, it is definitely worth it. I would recommend the Tacos al Carbon every time with the steak!
While they increase the expected house chips and salsa (with a bit of kick) by using it with a small vinegar salad, I also recommend the order of Queso (and stirring in salsa). I am insured by a friend who visits the restaurant that most of the menu is good, but I can tell you personally that we ordered from the seafood area and were really happy. The Diablo shrimps had a nice taste and the seafood Chimichanga was crispy and filled with seafood, including Dungeness crab. They serve a fried, sugared, chocolate and berries dipped, whipped cream Top Tortilla to all tables that was a perfect little sweet at the end of the meal. Very recommended. Note: This is in the cute, historical section of the Maine St. in Spirit Lake, the entrance is not as obvious as it is shared by the bicycle shop next door. There are about 2 outdoor tables.
Friendly staff and excellent food! Enjoyed our meal.
I will not pretend to know authentic Mexican food. However, I know good food. And this is good food! So flavorful. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back.
