Ivar's - Spokane Valley

I had an amazing experience with the salmon and chips! I first discovered Ivar's during a layover at SeaTac when I had to choose between Ivar's and Anthony's for some fish and chips. I went with Anthony's and was pleased, but I promised myself I'd give Ivar's a try on my next flight. To my surprise, I found out that there’s an Ivar's location right here in Spokane! I absolutely LOVE the salmon and chips! The batter is light and crispy, and just to tease my wife, I'll say they were simply 'yummo'!

On a chilly winter day, I absolutely love the clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl—it really warms the soul. I also tried the fish and chips, which were just average. They weren't the best I've ever had, but I suppose they meet the expectations for mall food.
