An amazing wine selection and the owners are great to talk to and knowledgeable about their wines. They have a great appetizer and pizza selection. I personally can't resist the spinach dip with a glass of of red wine. They also have live entertainment that is always a plus and adds to the cool vibe.
Loved this place!! So it's semi casual and the place is very dim lit, kind of gives you a sultry ambiance. I went with my friend to have a glass of wine. We both had a glass of the Bianca, it's a white wine and very tasty. They have art decorating the wall that are for sale which were very abstract. The thing that sold me on the place was the live music. The guitarist really set the mood and bonus he played some Pink Floyd and Dave Matthews band. A very enjoyable experience that I would recommend :
Great food and wines. Musician was very loud for the small space. Hard to dine and have a conversation when music was being played.
My husband and I are visiting Spokane for the first time to check out a new city and enjoy a long weekend of adventure. Stopped at Leftbank for happy hour yesterday and were blown away by the experience. The place is packed with character and charm, great energy, pizza and bluechetta appetizer (with locally sourced honey was amazing and went perfectly with the delicious wine that our host, Austin, recommended. Austin treated us like royalty and even shared historic tips and recommendations about the city. Thanks Austin for starting our trip off on the perfect note. Cheers and go Packers! :
This is going to be a brief review as I haven't eaten here yet, only drank some delicious wine while snuggling into the bench seating and listening to some local talent. Very cool ambience, somewhat dim lighting, and music that you can pay attention to or continue talking with your group/friends/date. The acoustics really were fantastic. I felt like I could hear everything which is usually super hard to do while someone is singing and playing on a guitar. I was seated in the front where they had a couch/bench wrap around opposite the performers in the front corner of the place. This spot does not seem that large but there were tons of people. Somehow it all worked and we still had seats. I had two glasses of wine: a malbec and a petit syrah. Started with the petit because, I mean, it's delicious. Both were fantastic options. The wine list was comprehensive without being overwhelming. Last note, I love that you can walk through the hallway in the back between this place and Scofflaws Books! Nothing makes you feel cooler than entering that bar through a bookcase and then taking a hallway to Leftbank three doors down. The vibe of this whole building was just perfect on a Friday night and I'd love to be back.
