The Elk - Spokane

2 stars for atmosphere just because the wasps in the outdoor seating area were intense. We had our dog with us so could not escape to inside seating once the food arrived. Otherwise, our visit was great with excellent service and very tasty food. This is a favorite restaurant whenever we visit Spokane. The anasazi bean burger was delicious and notably the texture of the bean patty was crunchy on the outside and creamy inside. I really enjoyed this burger and the corn pasta as a side pairs nicely. The BBQ quesadilla is a favorite of my dinner companion. He raves about the quasadilla well in advance of even getting to the restaurant.

Nice outdoor seating and good food! A little on the pricier side but great environment and was tasty. Great stop after a long car ride.

Our food, on the whole, was good: a reuben; a spicy chicken sandwich, and a burger. The food seems well put together and well prepared. The prices are *very* fair which was a bit surprising for this location. Parking can be a bit scant due to the residential area but requires no payment so that's a plus. The only minor knock I have was that our particular server was unbotherable: that is to say he wasn't rude but didn't seem to actually care about our table (drinks were empty for large swaths of our meal, for example). That all said I wouldn't avoid Elk but I would go with reasonable expectation.

Phenomenal. We had a group of 6, sat outside, warm night and every single one of us enjoyed their dishes highly recommend
