Golden Bowl Asian Cuisine - Spring

We were quite disappointed with our experience. Our family of five was really looking forward to trying The Golden Bowl, which came highly recommended, especially since we live less than a mile from Cypresswood. However, when our 10-year-old tried to order chicken nuggets from the children's menu, the waitress asked him how old he was. After he said he was 10, she informed him that he was too old to order from that menu. A second waiter then chimed in, saying we would have to pay for him twice. Given the situation, we decided it made more sense to pay for our drinks and go to another restaurant for dinner. What was particularly strange was that the restaurant was only about 10% full at 5 PM. I would have thought they would be willing to accommodate us for a meal in the range of $80-100, even if that meant allowing our 10-year-old to order from the children's menu.

During my first visit to this restaurant, I was pleased with both the service and the food. So today, we drove 15 miles to dine here again. We ordered a pork dish, but when it arrived, we noticed that it had a strange smell. When we brought this to the server's attention, she simply replied that they had been serving it that way for eight years. While that may be true, we didn't feel safe consuming something that seemed spoiled. The server did not take the dish back to the kitchen for further inspection, nor did she offer us a replacement. Instead, the dish was left on the table, and I ended up paying for it. Unfortunately, this experience has cost the restaurant a customer over an $8 dish. We will not be returning due to the poor customer service and lack of concern.

This place is absolutely amazing! I've been coming here since 2018, and I really enjoy the spicy miso ramen. Since then, I haven't tried any other place quite like it. The staff is so friendly, and I love all the food!

Very good sushi and fried rice, one of my visit to Chinese food. the smell inside the restaurant is however somewhat unpleasant. I enjoy eating and the amount, it's worth her money. highly recommended if they live in the environment and need a good take-out food option.

This place is a hidden gem!!!! I am so glad I drove past. I've been here for almost a year and have yet to find decent sushi in the immediate area. The sushi was fantastic, fresh tasting and the sushi rice was perfection. I did a pick up order but the interior is very inviting at first glance and the decor is simple and tasteful. Looking forward to going back today to sit and experience the service! Edit : Okay finally got to dine in. The bang bang shrimp is delicious!!! Breaded and crispy! And I told them to surprise me with a roll with Eel in it because it's my absolute fav and they came back with this work of actual art! I couldn't eat it because my dumb self forgot to add that whatever it is couldn't have cheese in it but holy sh*t it smelled DIVINE. The staff was cracking me up the whole time. I think it's a mother and son? Or maybe an aunt and nephew hahaha he was a young man dragging his feet around the place but he was SO sweet and attentive. Sushi rice was perfect for the second time!
