Not really a fry shack for catfish, so I wouldn’t recommend for that. Outstanding service with fresh catchclassics prepared like you would expect in the Old Guard French Quarter.
My wife and I enjoyed a kid-free night out and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Initially, I was concerned that the establishment's location would mean high prices, but to my delight, the menu was quite affordable. I had my heart set on a Po-Boy sandwich, but the inviting atmosphere led me to order something different instead. I opted for the blackened pork with jambalaya, while my wife chose the shrimp pasta. Both dishes were outstanding, and the portion sizes were just right—not too much, but enough to satisfy. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding, which was also very good, though I felt it was a bit pricey for its size. Overall, we had a lovely experience with delicious food. The restaurant is situated in a great area with plenty of shops and places to explore after the meal. We're definitely planning to return, and next time, I'll be sure to try the Po-Boy sandwich!
The food was fresh and delicious. To top off our meal, we ordered the cheesecake egg rolls served with pistachio ice cream, strawberries, whipped cream, and an incredible butterscotch sauce. While the dinner was on the pricier side at around $50 per person, it was absolutely worth it for such a fantastic evening. I genuinely wish I could have met the owner to hear the history and story behind the restaurant. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to others!
The food, staff, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Our waiter, Spencer, was incredibly helpful, and his knowledge of each dish was impressive. The head chef also made the rounds, engaging in personal conversations with guests, which I thought was a nice touch. I will definitely be returning!
Visited Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen with my wife for a Friday lunch get away. We sat right away and were treated to excellent service. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better! The picture attached is the rack of lamb overjambalaya with house-made sausage. The skilled included stuffed shrimp with crawfish. Everything was tasty and delicious. Can'twait to return. Exactly what we needed.
