Switchouse At Marriott Cityplace At Springwoods Village

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant was located inside a Marriott. The food was absolutely delicious.

The service and staff at this restaurant are fantastic, especially server Rosie who made my evening with her excellent service. Bartender Amy also made one of the best Irish coffees I've ever had. Thank you to all of you!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I left feeling extremely embarrassed. I typically do not bring up race, but I feel compelled to in this instance. When I walked into the restaurant, located inside the hotel, I was greeted at the entrance and found a table to sit at. There was only me and a white couple in the entire restaurant. The staff catered to the white couple the entire time and never once came over to my table. This was particularly embarrassing because I had come to eat alone. After waiting for 20 minutes, hoping someone would finally come over, I gave up and quietly left. As I was leaving, it felt as though the staff was relieved to see me go. This was an experience I wouldn't wish upon anyone. If your restaurant does not welcome people of color, it may be best to relocate it to Mars.

Review solely based on food and beverage. The staff were wonderful. Soggy avocado toast and no flavor. They were also out of several wines/drinks I tried to order.

We had just flew in and decided to check out this restaurant out of 3 options we were debating on as it had good reviews. We were seated quickly and the server was great. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice and it is alongside a hotel. We went in just after 4pm on a Thursday and it was not busy at all.Our server recommended the Switchouse burger, so my husband went with that option, my friend with the wings and truffle fries, my sister went with the brisket tacos and I went with the Mac and cheese.So pros- everything came out fresh and hot. The top hitters were #1 the burger and #2 wings with truffle fries.The burger was sooo good! It was perfectly cooked, flavourful and that bbq aioli perfectly complemented the burger on a whole. I had to take half to my husbands dismay : So worth it. Not a fan of the pickle 4.8/5The wings were good too. Went with the garlic Parmesan; tasty without being salty. Truffle fries were perfection. Crispy and true truffle fries throughout. Solid 4/5Mac and cheese was so full of sauce and not enough of the Mac. Taste was okay , not memorable 2/5So the brisket tacos…. This was by far the worst tacos we have ever had in our experience. It was extremely dry… could have been eating a cardboard box. It was truly not good and tasteless. We don’t know what happened with this item honestly it was just so disappointing. Nothing we did to it worked. 0/5Overall good experience.
