The Runaway Plate - Spring

Surprisingly Amazing Spot! When we first arrived, I was a bit apprehensive about the combination of BBQ and Sushi. However, my worries quickly faded. The flavors were simply incredible! My wife and I decided to order a variety of dishes since we came during Happy Hour and some items were discounted. Everything we tried was delightful, and our server, Amber, was outstanding. We had a wonderful experience. Although we’re only in town for a few more days, we will definitely return!

Delicious food! Great service. The sweet young employee heard me say that I couldn't see the menu clearly and included one in my bag for future reference. She was a doll for it. I live nearby, so this is a great place to come when I need a good meal and ran late when cooking.

I really want to give this place a five star rating but I can?t! If only the food was consistent! Not just the quality, but the flavors and the taste. I have a few favorites I order off the menu, but it seems like they are always different. My guess is it?s depending on who the cook is that evening. Sometimes the meals are fantastic and I?m very impressed. Then other times like tonight I find myself picking out hard pieces of dried over-cooked rice out of my food. Most of the time they get my order right, but since it?s a drive thru, I don?t always realize they have made a mistake until I?m home. One thing I can say is the staff is always pleasant and friendly. I just wish that the food was the same quality every time I went and tasted the same.

This is a fantastic spot for quickly enjoying healthy meals. The menu offers a wide variety of options to suit any craving. The customer service is outstanding; Andrew really makes you feel at home. I highly recommend dining at The Runaway Plate, and don't forget to check out Cast Iron Grill, their sister restaurant. It's just as good, if not better!

Wonderful little business restaurant! The chicken fried steak was fantastic and crispy, while the burgers were both delicate and flavorful. The sweet tea was just right, and the banana pudding cheesecake was delicious (though the portion could have been larger for the price). The atmosphere was pleasant, making it a perfect spot to celebrate 10 years with my beautiful wife!
