Yucatan Taco Stand - Spring

I visited this place the other night for a quick drink before meeting some friends and was really disappointed with the experience. The bartender completely ignored me, and I almost left for Bar Louie instead. After a while, I finally asked for a beer, but they were out of the one I wanted. I settled for a margarita instead. Unfortunately, the first drink had a bug in it. I requested a replacement, which took an eternity to arrive, and the second drink also had a bug in it. So, there I was with two drinks, both with bugs. I ended up picking the bug out because I had already wasted too much time there, and I was eager to ask to speak to a manager to possibly get my $11 back for one drink. By that point, I was late meeting my friends, and overall, it was a frustrating experience. I definitely won’t be returning.

The shredded beef and garlic tacos were fantastic, just as I remembered—truly incredible. However, the wait to receive them was disappointing. If we had been informed in advance about the delay, the experience would have felt different. To their credit, after my wife spoke with the manager, we were offered a gift card for our next visit. Considering it was a Friday evening, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, with no more than 50% of the tables occupied. There was one large party of 8 to 10 people who ordered a mountain of nachos, but aside from that, the crowd was on the smaller side. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for just four tacos. While they are definitely delicious, I'm not sure the wait time is justified.

The food is fantastic, but the restaurant itself is in a terrible state. The owners and management seem to be neglecting it, allowing everything to deteriorate. It's disappointing, especially since the food and drinks are so great. If this continues, I fear that customers will eventually stop coming. It’s a shame to witness such potential being undermined by poor upkeep.

I used to love this place. Ordered and get your yummy food quickly. Now it's a sit down restaurant? I went to for a quick lunch date because I had to get back to my kids and it took forever. Please change it back to ordering at the front we get our owndrinks and sit where we want.

Good service and good food. Would definitely come back. Great salsa, the beef and pork were tender and flavorful and the margaritas were good also. Maybe they changed a few things to improve? I?m pretty picky and we enjoyed everything we tasted. Wehave a 2 year old and the patio is kid and dog friendly too.
