Been going here for years but in the last 2 years I would say the majority of the time the pumps won 't take my card(s . Either the machine is broken, or it stays in a frozen state and won 't clear or approve or cancel the transaction and I can 't pump gas but don 't want to leave with the screen not returning to normal and then I have to go get a manager. Many times they are out fuel or the prices are ridiculous or the pumps are filthy. (Why is diesel so high here? higher than the Shell! . This station is a joke. The manager recently told me to contact Maverik directly. Something tells me Corporate does not care about this franchise or location. I lived in Montana even in blizzards, double digit sub zero temps...never ONCE had a problem with a pump. So using weather or dust storms as an excuse just doesn 't seem right.
Typically I like this Maverick because it’s right by the parking lot and I can get my breakfast on my way to work however lately I have noticed the decline in the hots selection and this morning there was nothing prepared. Yes I am aware that I can go to the kitchen area and order and have it made right there but I don’t usually have time to wait that early in the morning because I am single and have to get up early to shower make my lunch and coffee and plan something to cook as soon as I get home which is usually about 8:45 so makes it nice when I can save some time and snag breakfast on my way to work. Maybe they need to start a little earlier or get another person in the kitchen. My breakfast this morning is Reese’s peanut butter cups because I am diabetic and had taken my insulin before leaving the house expecting to be able to get breakfast at Maverick. Ya me now I get to fight high blood sugars all day.
Clean, friendly , has a great variety of things needed to be on the way out hunting, or even headed home.
If I could give this place a zero I would. I have called the owner on his staff and he doesn’t seem to care that they don’t care about customers. Your staff seems super bothered to assist anyone, they are rude and seem bothered that they have to help the customer. Just spoke to a staff member and was told that the reason they have the self checkouts is to not help the customer. Wow.
