The chef could hear our conversation regarding food and gave us suggestions based on what we were thinking of ordering. Which were all amazing. They were very accommodating for making most dishes gluten free which was needed and added to making my selection. Can’t wait to go back!
Our dinners were delicious! Fresh Ahi and the tiger shrimp pomadora was soo tasty. Loved the salad dressing so much, we bought a 1/2 pint to go
Although the food was good, the roasted pork wasn't as I expected. My fault, I should have read the description of the preparation.
Extensive Global menu that is hit or miss. Too many world cuisines to do any of them justice. Pair down the menu and concentrate on a one or two types of food. The food is good but could be very good with some changes. The portions are large, it's a byob and Spring Lake is a beautiful place.
First time at Arugula with their new chef. The space is small but in a lovely Spring Lake location. A complimentary salad with some fresh fruit and a small roll was a tasty start. The menu is too extensive to do any cuisine justice. Some of the ingredient combinations don 't go well together, while others, like Jambalaya , were not true to the recipe. Some seafood dishes simply said white fish without identifying the species. Two veal entrées and a rigatoni vodka entrée were good. The portions were generous. This is a BYOB. This restaurant has no identity. There are dishes from all over the world. Too many different food cultures to give each one justice.
