The food came out pretty fast even after he said that they were behind in the kitchen (We maybe waited all of 15 minutes for our food, I got fajitas and my dude got a steak quesadilla . I love this place regardless, but tonight was by far the best night we’ve had. :
The ambiance and music was great. The drinks are delicious, from the Margaritas to the Micheladas. The food was good and the portions are huge, I couldn't finish my meal. I would like to try the Margarita tower one day, the party next to us orders a couple, it looked pretty good.
It's been a while since we've have Mexican food at all so it was a great surprise to find this treasure. We were there early on a Friday night and it wasn't very busy at all. We were seated and our waitress Angie was very attentive without overdoing it. She gave us the time we needed to look over the menu, since this was our first time. I was absolutely shocked when our food was brought out in less than ten minutes, AND... It was cooked perfectly. I got the Texas Fajitas one of their Halloween drink specials, the Toxic Waste. The steak, chicken, shrimp were delicious and building my own tacos was a treat. The drink was very STRONG but tasted great. My wife got the taco salad and it must have been perfect because she will normally complain if it's too spicy and she didn't say a word. She got another Halloween drink, the Tipsy Ghost and it was equally STRONG but tasty. We both actually had to sit a bit after we were done so neither of us had to drive sloshed. ? I was even allowed to take my drink glass home, as long as I drank all the alcohol out of it. ?The atmosphere was very welcoming with a good amount of lighting and very nicely decorated. The music added to the vibe plus there was ample seating in the booth for this big guy.I can only speak for the men's restroom and I'll say it left a lot to be desired. The handicap toilet didn't even have a toilet seat on it and the stall doors were held on my several blocks of wood and a strip of rubber. But that was the only thing I'd say that wasn't exactly right and I have seen worse. This would be a great place to bring a large group of family or friends with plenty of seating for everyone plus a lot more.
This place used to be good but no longer is! We had a bad experience several months ago but decided maybe it was a fluke and wanted to give them another try. First of all let me say the prices have all increased quite a bit which is expected in this economy but the quality has decreased. Cheese dip came out as thin as water, so thin that it wouldn’t even stick to the chips. Then they brought out the meal (sizzling enchiladas) which came out filled with some yellow cheese and then a bit of the watery cheese dip on top that again was so thin it wouldn’t stick but rather puddles beneath the enchiladas making them a soggy mess. They admitted many have complained about the cheap shredded cheese they are using instead of the white quesso cheese they used to use. My sons meal included a side of watered down refried beans. I was asked to bring my daughter a quesadilla home but before ordering I asked if they were also going to be made with the cheap yellow cheese and they assured me no that it would be the white cheese… well they lied!!! The server was very nice but he likely knew things were not good and actually told us a place we could get good Mexican food. I had a bottled beer but I have no doubt had I had a mixed drink that it too would have been watered down. I understand they are probably trying to save money but if your going to charge me more at least serve decent food! Won’t be back!
Look, is it the best TexMex food of all time? I don’t know, it might be. Might not be. Probably isn’t. But, what it does do is provide completely ridiculous and unnecessarily sized drinks for you and your friends to attempt to drink. It’s a lot of damn fun.Shout out to the kitchen staff who drove us home when we couldn’t get an uber, you guys rock.
