Tokyo Sushi Bbq - Spring Valley Lake

The restaurant is very clean including the bathrooms. The staff is very friendly. The portions are big and the sushi is very fresh. I 've been in the HD for about 3 years now. I 've tried all the local sushi spots. This place tastes like your in Sawtelle or Little Tokyo in Downtown LA. Most of the sushi restaurants around the HD are what I consider economical restaurants. They taste like the sushi you get at Costco or at a ALL YOU CAN EAT CHINESE BUFFET. If your looking for a more authentic Japanese meal in the HD and you can tolerate 7th St, I highly recommend this place. The shopping mall has ample parking and I feel very safe even at night.

Had the miso soup, it was fantastic. Then had the 12 piece sashimi dinner. Tuna, albacore, salmon and halibut which was very cold and amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
