Central Tavern Springfield Lakes

A jug full of ice didn't leave much room for lemonade, unfortunately we had the same problem with alcoholic drinks, the ice was emptied if asked, however, if any family members forgot to ask they got a glass or jug full of ice.It used to have a lovely family feel with an ice cream machine and a few games for the children to play which have all gone.There is still a little play area for small children which is lovely.I was surprised at how empty it was for a Friday night, it's a local tavern for us so I do hope things pick up and return to normal.

For those of us that enjoy a quiet pub on a Sunday afternoon,and a good reasonably priced meal. The Central Tavern is a must. The service is top notch and the food was reasonable for fare in its class & the staff were very friendly.We had the steaks all round and they were tender and cooked flawlessly. We will be back for sure, as our regular haunt started cutting costs with food and quality. So this is a welcome replacement and I strongly recommend a visit.Well done to the chef and bartender !! See you both soon

Had my wife's 40th lunch here recently for a small group of us. 20 of us in group and meals were ok, most came out within a normal time frame, some didn't. To be expected though. Ran a bar tab which worked out ok. Would suggest tavern look after bigger groups with prices for drinks and meals. No discounts etc. that would encourage people to stay longer. We spent quite a bit of $$ for the afternoon evening. Some staff are friendly others are not as friendly. Its a Ok place to chill with family and friends in quite environment.

Handy to everything nice relaxing place to meet up with friends or have a function there food is also very good service is excellent you will enjoy your time there

We go here because the other pubs are over rated.The service is always great, the food always hits the spot (they have heaps of parmy's to choose from) and the beverages are always cold. You can have entree and 2 mains and a few beers here and get change of $100, which isn't too often you come by that at other places. There's always seating (inside and out), there's always specials, happy hours and something on. Parking is great and they have a play area for the kids. A good one at that. Only down fall if that there's not a lot of craft beers on tap but there's still a great selection of beverages to choose from if you want to enjoy a stubby.
