Carter's Fish Market - Springfield

It's just a food truck with one picnic table to set at while you are waiting for your food to cook. The fish and hush puppies were good, though. They need an inside place to set down and eat, need more help, a bigger place, and/or another place on the southeast side of Springfield. I'm not from Springfield, so of course by the time I got home I had to reheat everything. If you live in Springfield, I could see where you would want to take the food home and eat it.

I was in Springfield and I wanted lunch. Decided to go to Carter's fish market and it was great hot food good service. We'll go again when I'm in Springfield.

We drive from Decatur to Springfield at least twice a month just for Carters and Popeyes). Everything is Excellent!!!

I must have missed the grumpy old lady lol. Nice, friendly service. Pleasant conversation with other patron. Walleye was great. Fried green tomatoes ok. I think okra is better.I love living in Springfield and enjoy the offerings such as this Carters landmarck.

Best Fish Hands down and friendly people, will definitely be back!
