Fresh World - Springfield

The fruits are very poor quality and always bad. Specially the mango and pomegranate. You buy a 15.99 dollar box mango. But this is what you get. Don't think they even check the items before selling or they are aware what they sell, but people don't matter. It's just the money.

Love the fresh veggies and kimchi products! I would really love if they would do instacart or other type of delivery service. Being so close to DC it would open their business to many residents in the city who prefer delivery. Hmart offers delivery so I currently split my shopping between the 2. I enjoy Fresh World more so I hope one day they offer delivery too.

I had a terrible experience this morning with one of the cashiers at the Springfield, VA store. I paid for my groceries this morning (9:12am) and one of the plastic bags that the staff was packing my groceries ripped so another bag was placed, but because I feared it would also rip I grabbed 2 more bags. As I was walking to my car, the cashier (Patricia Telon) chased me down and yelled at me not to do that again. I wasn't aware that your store trained cashiers to leave their register with a drawer full of cash unattended to chase down customers. Is that a new practice? She may have thought it was okay to treat me that way because I'm a handicapped senior, but she is mistaken. The cashiers here really need to learn that they can't treat people, especially older people like myself, that way. If cashiers like Ms. Telon are unable to practice good customer service then maybe they should be placed in a different area where they doesn't have to have any contact with the public.

Fresh world is a great store for produce and international foods. They have a supper large selection of foods that are reasonably priced and they are usually fresh. They also have a small food court/coffee shop if you want to have lunch or a snack before checking out the whole store, which would take a while. I recommend wandering through the whole store first, there is so much good stuff to discover.

Absolutely love this market... Great seafood selection and the produce are always good and fresh
