The server did a superb job and fulfilled all our wishes for a relaxing luncheon.I ordered a panini and expected it would be made in a panini press, it was actually just a grilled sandwich, flavors were good, but less than I expected. The side salad was wonderful with a raspberry vinaigrette. I shared the triple chocolate cake with my friend and it was good, but again, not as delicious as expected since y’all are known for your bakery items.I will come in again and try something different. I love the retail store and the amazing decor! Kudos to whomever dreamed up the eclectic chandeliers!!
Fantastic. Don't be afraid to try the mushroom soup!! Amazing. Chef Joe knows what he's doing in that kitchen!! Drive all the way from KC to eat here. It did not disappoint!!Food: 5/5
This is a great place to enjoy a nice lunch and some tea and/or coffee. The desserts here are well made and all taste good a highlight would be the Black Forest brownies they get in once or twice every couple months. As far as price, I have no complaints: it's pretty standard lunch/brunch pricing (similar to First Watch), and for supporting a local small business it's certainly nothing to sneeze at.Service is great, and the kitchen prepares food in a timely manner. One word to the wise if you have a larger party, make sure that you either get a reservation well in advance or try to show up on a weekday rather than Friday/Saturday, as you will most likely have a long wait ahead of you before you can get seats on a weekend.Overall, a charming lunch stop, bakery and boutique with a bevy of options for having your best experience! Highly recommend.
This place is absolutely amazing! Plan to go early or stay late and browse the cute boutique. The chandeliers are so eclectic. cannot believe I had never visited. Where to start? First, we had a table of 5 and we never felt rushed. We heard it gets very busy so reservations are recommended. I had the chicken bacon ranch quiche mushroom soup. It was fantastic. But the strawberry soup (yes, soup)... ohhh...it is utterly delightful. If you like strawberries it is a must. Next the cakes are amazing. There were also beautiful truffles and sugar cookies. Let's just say I was very pleased with my visit to Ms. Gilmore's and I am sad I didn't know about it until now. I'd say it's the coolest little lunch spot in Springfield.
