Pappos Pizzeria South Springfield

The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, including pizzas, calzones, salads, and more. The outdoor seating area is spacious and perfect for enjoying your meal. The restaurant offers a great selection of specialty beers, wines, and mixed drinks. They also host trivia nights on Tuesdays, and have several TVs scattered throughout the establishment.

Last night we dined at Pappo's. We mentioned to our favorite server, Maddie, that we had recently come back from a 2-week trip to Africa, and she surprised us with a special treat! The pizza at Pappo's is absolutely delicious, and the staff is always wonderful.

Came here on Wednesday Aug 3rd, it was about an hour prior to closing. Walked over from the Vandivort. They still had full service and the pizza was excellent. Plenty of good beers on tap with various options from light lagers to heavy IPAs. I enjoyedtalking to the staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Some places seem to have trouble staffing at all meanwhilePappos seemed to not only be well staffed but with very good and friendly people. Definitely recommend if you?re in Springfield.

I've been there 3 times since April. The first 2 times the food took more time than I expected to arrive at the table. Last time it was timely. I had wings the first time and they weren't bad, but not a good value at almost $20 for ten wings.The staff hasbeen very friendly. Twice i tried the pizza on thin crust. I once had the Sicilian Toppings and had sausage and olives.Unfortunately they both really lacked in flavor. There are plenty of TV screens for sports events viewing.

This pizza restaurant is fantastic. It does tend to get busy during dinner hours, but the wait times are surprisingly short. It has a sports bar, but maintains a family-friendly atmosphere. There is ample parking and it is handicap accessible. The staff is excellent and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the pizza. The restaurant is clean, although we did not check the restrooms.
