Rudy's Smokehouse - Springfield

This midwestern BBQ joint delivered everything we expected. The BBQ was delicious, accompanied by creative sides like scalloped corn and ham 'n beans. The counter service was friendly and efficient. We would definitely make a point to stop here again on our next journey through town.

We stopped by this restaurant while out looking for a house and we're so glad we did! We were really hungry but surprisingly were only able to eat half of our portions! We both ordered the brisket combo with sides and it was delicious! Thank you for starting our year off with a fantastic lunch! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

The brisket was cold and the pulled pork was also not up to standard. I had to ask twice about the status of the hush puppies, but they forgot about them completely. In the end, they ended up refunding my money.

Prices are high. Had a lot of big chunks of fat in our meat. Buns were not fresh, kind of hard.

I will be coming back! The brisket and nacho fries were fantastic.
