I've come in twice this year, several months apart, just to be told they don't serve Indian food. First time was because they didn't currently have an Indian cook. This time it's because they only do Indian on special occasions. Fine, special occasions, then don't pretend you are something you are not. It's just another rural highway basic burger diner you'd find anywhere USA.
They unfortunately don't serve Indian food anymore, which was why we stopped here on our way through to TX. However, we decided to still give it a try and it was the friendliest service and fluffiest pancakes ever!
We stopped to have a Ribeye steak which we had seen in the online menu, the only steak they now serve is a sirloin. Yuck!
Seriously legit Indian food. Don't be put off that it's a truck stop, everything we ordered was awesome. I loved my aloo gobhi and chicken tikka masala.
As a band on tour we often pass through small towns with sub-par food options. We got to this restaurant with no great expectations, but proceeded to have some of the tastiest Indian food we've had. Highlights were the chicken tikka masala and aloo gobhi, though everything was delicious and fresh. We were so impressed that afterwards the friendly chef came out and we shook hands with him. He recommended the chicken curry for next time... Hopefully we'll make it back!
