Stacks Hamburger Stand - Springfield

Very good, very greasy spot. Fries are sometimes too salty but nothing beats their cheeseburgers with stacks sauce. Kid-friendliness: Chalk board for kids

It must have been an off day for them. I called in an order, they must have lost it because it took them an hour to get me my food. I assume they made it when I arrived cause it took them 30 minutes after I got there. Disappointed.

Date of service: 07/13/24 My wife and I got the double stacked burgers with cheese and bacon. That burger was PHENOMENAL!!! Flat out best burger I’ve had in a looooooooooong time! The kids at the counter were very respectful. Someone’s done a good job raising them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We used to get Stacks once a week and they were the best. Then they started (almost) always leaving the bacon off our burgers or giving us cold fries, sometimes both. But..every place has bad days and those really aren't deal breakers for us. We just started eating there less. Last time, they left off the bacon we paid for, gave us cold hard fries, DROWNED my burger in mayo and mustard and gave me 3 tiny shrivled up shreds of lettuce. Like little noodles. So it's been a little while since we went there. Today, I really wanted to try them again after a long break. Fries, cold and hard. They gave us the bacon (which I think my husband mentioned to them that they seem to always leave off, anymore). Coincidentally, he did get his lettuce but I did not. I just don't even understand the whole lettuce situation. Is someone messing with me? ? It's so weird. Honestly, they can be really good. Some days, I would have given them 5 stars. I haven't seen any of those in a good while. Consistency is key. And they have none. ?

Fresh cooked hamburger and fries. I will definitely be going back..
