The Olive Branch - Springfield

Best and freshest food in town by far, but the information about the hours and location on Google are usually wrong. Whenever it says it's open it's nowhere to be found, and no one picks up the phone. Very annoying, but the food is just too good to not try.

One of our go to favorites! The flavors are excellent, the quality is great, and you can really tell that there is a lot of care put into preparing each dish. Seriously, you should eat here.

This restaurant has the best falafel in town, out of the six restaurants in Springfield that serve it. I plan on trying to replicate their falafel so I can make it at home whenever I want.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's my top choice at the food truck park. The food is always fresh and absolutely scrumptious!

I visited the Route 66 food truck park last week before the current virus situation for lunch. Feeling guilty about recent dietary choices, I searched for the healthiest option and decided on The Olive Branch. As I waited for my order, I doubted my decision to eat healthy at a food truck park. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the explosion of flavors in every bite! I ordered a lamb bowl with rice and a side of risotto balls, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The Harissa sauce was amazing, the lamb was tender and flavorful, and the risotto balls were creamy and parmesan-infused. I didn't feel heavy or regretful after eating, unlike when I usually indulge in a burger and fries. Overall, I highly recommend trying The Olive Branch at Route 66 - if healthy food can be this tasty, maybe I'll finally lose those 10 pounds I've been struggling with for years.
