Sitting down, I was not sure what all we would be getting ourselves into with eating in the hotel restaurant, but my goodness, they pump out some serious food. Theselection they have for spirits are out of this world and are fairly priced. Some of their wine has some large overhead forpricing, but that is fine and understandable. The food and cocktails are worth the visit, and I suggest you try this place outif in town. They are hyper-local, which is always great to find a place that supports their community.
Our s 'mores dessert was not up to par with what we 've gotten in the past or with the price. Feel like they are becoming a 'hotel bar ' rather than a standalone restaurant. Service was great!
I 'd made a reservation the night before for a party of eight, possibly more. I gave them a name and my phone number, and the young man asked if it was a special occasion. I told them it was my son 's surprise 21st birthday, and it was a family dinner.When the first four of our party arrived before us (out of a party that ended up being ten), they said they didn 't have areservation for us, and suggested we go to their other restaurant. I called and spoke with the young lady and even told her whattime I 'd called (because she asked), and she said we weren 't in their system. I told her that something is very wrong with theirsystem, and we 'd take our party elsewhere, when she wouldn 't accommodate us after losing our reservation. After tellinganother highly-rated establishment of our situation, we were graciously worked in, and were treated like guests should be. Halfof our party averaged $100/plate, and I 'm happy to have paid it elsewhere.
Pretty nice bar experience. We didn?t eat a full meal here but had some appetizers with our drinks. The drinks are very strong and boozy. The appetizers were pretty good. The cashew chicken was honestly so good and crispy. Bartenders know how to makeawesome drinks!
If this place was in NYC it would be famous. The cocktails were unusual and delicious. My wife has a take on a pisco that was the best I have ever had. There was a Smoked Crudo small plate that was unlike anything I have tasted. A fresh Arugula saladwith little chunks of parmesan cheese was fresh and as tasty as a salad can be. If you come to Springfield come here.
