The Bunker - Springwood

Served meat. No separate vegan lunch menu, although the regular lunch menu has a small number of clearly marked vegan items and a larger number of vegetarian items with (less clear) vegan options available; so if you stop here for lunch, you should also look at the vegetarian options on the menu. I was initially a bit worried about how few items were labeled on the menu as vegan until I went back for a second look. I had the vegan lunch castle, but on sourdough bread, because they had fled from the Turkish rolls, the burger is usually served; so it was more of a vegan lunch sandwich (my server made a lot for me to be good with sourdough bread when I took my order). It was pretty nice.

Got 60. My wife's birthday. Some really nice vegan options on the menu and service was prompt, professional and friendly. No vegan desserts on the lunch menu, but I could have a vegan 'snickers' bar from the dinner menu. Still from the sugar in this! Book in advance is the best idea as the weekend is very, very busy. In the middle of the Springwood shops...

The location is excellent and the service is beautiful, really beautiful. There is no lack of vegan options on the menu, but the food will not awaken you. Good food, not amazing in any way, but gain the attitude and service. The efforts to provide the vegans in this area should also be considered.

Beautiful ambience with heating for outdoor seats. Separate vegan menu offered 3 salads and two hot dishes. The risotto with pumpkin saffron, spring and suac was disappointing. No taste, no spices!! Not sure if it presents a stock for cooking the Risotto and spring onion on the plate and obviously boiled separately to the Risotto, so no taste of it. Doubt, if it actually uses Suac, as this should provide a beautiful citrus and freshness for the dish. Even a lemon would have improved this dish!! My partner ordered the hand-rolled pasta with buffalo mozzarella and that was delicious. It is also available as a vegan meal, so I would definitely go for it!! In terms of pricing, I feel unfair to taste vegan meals without protein on the same level as meat dishes.

Beautifully set-up indoor and outdoor. The hostess was delightful. The food was amazing, drinks were good but the desserts yummmm well presented and beautiful. Clean and good value for money. Love the place and the ambience. Highly recommended.
