Fergie's Café - Squamish

The location is fantastic, and the online menu clearly indicates which options are gluten-free or can be adjusted, which is very helpful. However, it's quite frustrating that the physical menu does not provide the same information. The owner has celiac disease, so I felt totally confident that what we ordered was safe to eat. It's a popular spot, so be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table, but the food comes out quickly, and with such great views, you won't mind the wait at all.

The Elaho breakfast includes hash browns, sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, and a roasted gluten-free chicken. The server, along with the kitchen staff and supervisor, took the time to check for celiac disease concerns. They assured me that the owner’s family has celiac disease and frequently dines there. A member of the kitchen team brought out my food separately to ensure there was no cross-contamination. I felt safe and well taken care of, and I had no reaction, which confirmed that everything was handled properly! The food was delicious! The restaurant has a high ceiling and most of the seating is almost entirely outdoors. There are a few indoor seats, but be prepared to wait longer for those, so dress warmly. They no longer provide blankets due to Covid-19.
