Inside the café was clean with plenty of sofas and coffee tables, as well as normal tables and chairs; outside there is an extensive veranda with views over the park. As the leisure center was only partially open the café was not busy; my cappuccino was expertly made (nice consistently and correct temperature). As Crussh aims to serve healthy food and drink, my favorite snacks were not available (kit-kat or blue ribbon biscuit) and a lot of snacks available were high protein, but there were bags of popcorn!
Made food an hour before expected food was cold! **** communication, poor service and rude staff. Wouldnt recommend for childrens party food. Never again!!!!
This restaurant is in complete disarray! The queueing system is chaotic, the staff lack urgency and service, and the tables and floors are filthy with remnants of the last 5 diners. This is the only downside to an otherwise great gym. The food is good, but the terrible customer service experience makes it not worth it. Please train your staff and hire more to improve the awful experience.
Where to even start with this restaurant review? 1. The restaurant was incredibly dirty and disorganized. 2. There were too many staff members who seemed to be doing nothing but goofing off. 3. The kitchen staff had long hair and were not wearing hair nets. 4. It took a whopping 17 minutes to get a smoothie! 5. To make matters worse, when it finally arrived, it contained dairy despite my request for a non-dairy option. When I brought this up, the employee lied and insisted the order was correct, but after one sip, it was clear that there was yogurt in it. Failing to take food allergies and dietary needs seriously, especially for a pregnant woman at 8.5 months, is simply unacceptable. This place is a disaster.
Whilst the healthy concept of Crussh is excellent, and so appropriate for a Leisure Centre, I do not understand why they can’t clean the floor. Every table and chair was surrounded by waste food (although the table tops were generally clean and cleared). We found a table that was not too bad, so ordered some drinks. Very little care and attention was paid to making of the drinks. I ordered a Cappuccino and was served a Latte, not the end of world, but the Latte was so hot I literally could not even sip it for 20 minutes – by which time our two hour free parking slot was almost up. I had thought of adding some cold milk, but the coffee already contained too much milk and any more would have made it cooler but undrinkable.
