Leafi - St Albans

When I inquired about where to find sugar, the staff informed me that it was located in the courtroom. To my surprise, the courtroom still retains its original appearance, and despite being last utilized in the mid-1960s, it could still potentially accommodate legal proceedings today due to its excellent preservation. Now serving as a café seating area, I decided to collect my order and sit in the courtroom, resting on the benches. This has to be one of the most unique coffee shop experiences in Britain; it is incredibly surreal, yet fascinating and steeped in history. Leafi has truly set a trend with this innovative blend of dining and culture, and it deserves high praise for daring to venture into the unconventional successfully. In addition to the café, visitors can also explore the holding cells where prisoners were once taken. It's possible to see where the accused stood and the stairs leading down to the cells, which still provide a glimpse into the past. My personal rating is a perfect 10/10. Leafi earns my gold star for excellence!

The entire Leafi Events team, led by the General Manager, made our day unforgettable. The customer service was top-notch, and the food was exquisite. We had a great time together and are already planning to return. A special thanks to Abi for leading the team and ensuring our day was remarkable.
