I had a delightful meal at this restaurant, enjoying a baked potato, scone, and an excellent latte. I was impressed by the quality of the food and the service provided by M&S.
Today I came to this restaurant for a quick drink. The small cafe seems even smaller now with the addition of a large fridge and table. There are very few tables, a limited number of staff who do not clean them, and the service is slow. The food is decent at most, but overpriced for the quality. I would recommend going somewhere else!
The M&S Café (formally Café Revive) is situated upstairs in the main St Albans M&S store in the city centre. On a Saturday morning the café was quite busy, but the average age of customers must have been around 70! The coffee is organic, Fairtrade and rainforest alliance certified. My cappuccino was large and tasted good. There are children’s colouring sheets (and crayons) available. A selection of snacks and cakes are available; these are all fresh M&S food so if you like what you eat, then you can pop downstairs to the food hall and buy more of the same.
They thank the owners so much for their generous donation in the opposite for an Origami peace dust. my daughter has raised a total of 220 pounds for the appeal of the red cross of the ukraine. I'll dip into st albans for cake and coffee the next time. Thanks again.
