I ordered food, but it never arrived. I tried calling the restaurant around 20 times, but they didn't answer or hung up on me. Terrible service. Avoid using this restaurant.
Food Quality: The fish is fresh and flaky with a crunchy batter, and the chips are fluffy. Other items are okay. (4/5) Food Range: They offer a variety of options such as fish, pies, burgers, kebabs, and chicken. They even have saveloys! (5/5) Service: The staff is friendly, but can be slow at times, even with advance orders. (3/5) Atmosphere: The setup is typical for a chip shop, but the air can feel a bit oily. (3/5) Value: The food is reasonably priced and maintains good quality. (4/5) Overall Verdict: This traditional chip shop offers a decent selection of items at a fair price. (4/5) Must-try items: Battered fish, saveloy, mixed kebab.
Fab fish (regular) cod, chips (medium) and (homemade) mushy peas c.£10 Told to wait 7 mins on ordering as fried to order and service was still fast and efficient. Quality was top notch across the board. Pretty extensive range of other take out foods too including fried halloumi but what I had was really good. Many people going into the chippy ordered on the website and then collecting... seemed to work well. Open late 6 days too.
I love coming here, the options for any dietry requirements are very good and the food is always delicious. Definitely our favourit fish and chips in town
