Jjam Cafe - St. Albans

We were disappointed that we have booked jjam cafe through the opentable app, just to find out when we showed that the caffe was actually closed. we were a party of 6 with children and it was far away from ideal to improvise lunchtime. I am sure there must be a possibility to set the app to not allow bookings when the caffe is closed.

Very beautiful. beautiful small caffe and friendly staff. only critic is that it took a terrible long time to get our food, so the service was pretty slow.

This appeared a charming little place, the general disappointment was the temperature inside. we were supplied with a deck, but there were only a few, not enough for all. the waitress was pleasant, we wanted both suppe and around 13:45 we were told the only suppe on the menu, would not be ready until 14:30? this is a tad unacceptable for a lunch booking. we ordered a blt that was delicious, but no accompaniment of fries or even a few crawl? we then ordered a coffee and wanted to go a piece of cake with it unfortunately there was no cake available. I doubt that I would return here.

Excellent starter of the event absolutely brilliant. service great and venue was very good. small menu, but quite well balanced. would come back.

As usual and the reason I chose to celebrate my big birthday here was that they never fail to exceed all expectations, I even had a homemade chocolate chocolate presented with a candle believing it was my friend’s, it was the restaurant and what amazed me was it was nut free !! It was absolutely attention to detail and totally delicious Fantastic steak meal , beautiful live music , fabulous cocktails and romantic rustic ambiance and vibe thank you all again !! X.
