The Three Horseshoes - St. Albans

I met my friend here for a meal and we both thoroughly enjoyed it

As my journey to the Three Horseshoes was over miles, I had booked a table for My friend was meeting me there, but the staff had no record of my booking, which could have caused a problem as I was delayed by traffic. The manager was most helpful, and suggested that I might try a slightly different choice on the menu, which was most acceptable. She made our visit an even more enjoyable one. Thank her

My wife and I are regular Sunday lunch time diners, we are very satisfied with the Service, food and generally enjoy our visits. We particularly value the friendship shown to us by all concerned, especially Trish and Carolyn. We have told you all this before.Thanks again

We did enjoy our meal overall, but my son had fillet steak, which was quite gristly, making it difficult to cut and had to leave some, which was disappointing. My mother and I had the sea bass, which was excellent.The service on this occasion was fairly slow. The waitress took a food order from a larger group, who had arrived after us and was oblivious that we were waiting to order. This is why the score is not as high

Spacious pub with well spaced out tables. Good choice on menu with a comprehensive drinks list. Service very good, not rushed and food well cooked. Have been a couple of times and will go back again
