Ceres Community Environment Park

Amazing place! Can’t believe something like this is so close to the city. So vibrant and fun. The cafe and shop are great and the market has some nice stalls.

Visited Ceres today and shopped at the artisan market- pottery, hand knitted garments, Christmas decorations and other hand made delights. Lovely walks wandering around. Great shop which sells eco and organic wares including refillable washing and pantry supplies. There is a little cafe in the shop and then a bigger merri cafe, which has a great view from outdoor seating on the balcony. There’s a brilliant nursery too. Has it all.

Great place with an awesome vibe. It's best experienced by walking or cycling here. Otherwise what's the point of buying organic stuff produced in an environmentally friendly way if you need to drive there to pick it up. It's located on the picturesque Merri Creek trail. This place is more than just a produce market. There's a great cafe that caters also to vegans, a bicycle recycler, where you can buy bicycles and have them repaired and other interesting events.

I always feel at peace , and at home when I spend time at Ceres. Thank you for making the spaces available, and the maintenance, shows, events, and permaculture you make available to everyone. Especially appreciate being able to take a quiet walk with a dog on lead through the grounds.

I'm a regular visitor of Ceres Community Park and love the nature of this Park and the gardens. Including information about nature, water facilities, gardening and maintenance. There is a nursery and 2 beautiful cafes. Opportunities for voluntary work as well.
