The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant is spacious, making it ideal for families and groups. The malai kofta and chicken tikka Marsala are outstanding, and the aloo naan and garlic naan are perfect accompaniments. The prawns malabari were suggested to us and were absolutely delicious. We were advised that we had ordered too much food for our entrée, but we wanted to try a variety of dishes so they happily packed up the leftovers for us. The onion Bhagwan and meat samosas were also delicious, with large portions at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning with a larger group next time - this restaurant is a fantastic addition to dining in St Ives.
Located in a small laneway and up a flight of stairs to the first floor, this restaurant offers a spacious area that can accommodate more than 60 people. Don't let the hidden location deter you, as the food is fantastic. The extensive menu includes Tandoori dishes and other specialties, with over 50 mains to choose from. Additionally, they offer appetizers, desserts, a children's menu, and a variety of tandoori breads. This place has it all, and you can bring your own alcohol. The most important thing is that the food is delicious. I have named this restaurant my top local Indian spot and will definitely be returning frequently.
As a resident of St Ives it's great we now have an awesome Indian restaurant instead of having to drive to turramurra. The choice is extensive, the portions are very generous and what we had was very very good. The lamb cutlets were the best I've had in Australia. They've spent months and a lot of money to refresh the kitchen so no worries about things not being kept properly. A must visit if you like north Indian cuisine.
This restaurant is tucked away in a small laneway and up a flight of stairs to the first floor. Once there it opens up to a spacious area that could cater for well over 60 people. Don't be put off by the hidden location because the food is fabulous. A very extensive menu is available with Tandoori dishes and other specialties - I counted well over 50 mains, and in addition there are appetisers, desserts, a children's menu, and a range of tandoori breads - this place has the lot and BYO is welcome. But most importantly the food is great. I'm naming this place as my number 1 local Indian restaurant and will be going back often.
