One of the worst dining experiences ever. Broken windows, endlessly complaining staff. overcooked haddock. I ordered oysters, the menu said oysters, I got a greasy grey ' oyster pannacotta ' that tasted like cheese. Complaints not taken seriously, not dealt with, no contact made with chef, no deductions on bill. no tip.
Disappointed that only a set menu was available, as it was Mother's Day! While I can appreciate this, as the restaurant was very busy, it would have been helpful to have been informed of this on booking or at least an indication on the menu board outside the restaurant would have been helpful as I had my heart set on lobster! Food was great but not much of it! Seated on garden furniture, as there were not enough seats! Cover charge of £8.50 per head outrageous! No indication of this on menu inside or on menu board outside restaurant! Disappointing!
Having been previously i am given it thr benefit of the doubt. Service wasnt the best. We asked 3 members of staff for thr same thing and none of them came back. The ice cream came out like a plate of soup and was just thrown down in front of us. Being mothers day i feel the restaurant went for financial gain rather than customer experience.dissapointed on this occasion but have been before when good
Beautiful views over the bay, amazing food. Excellent menu choices and informative staff. Interesting wine list. Lovely crab as a starter and delicious halibut as a main course. Will certainly return!
